Bisquick Shepherd's Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 medium onion
- 1 lb ground beef
- bag of frozen mixed veggies
- grated cheese
- Spices (salt/pepper to taste, oregano, basil, thyme)
Topping:
- 1 cup flour
- pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 large or 2 small eggs
- Milk to make it a slightly thinner-than-usual pancake batter
Preparation:
- Dice the onion, brown it on some oil of choice.
- Add beef, break it up to dime size pieces. Cook till done.
- Add frozen veggies to taste - about ¾ of a 1 lb bag.
- Add spices.
- Take off heat.
- Add grated cheese.
- Pour in pie pan, pour batter over.
- Put in oven at 350 degrees until the top is cooked.
